About Me
Adam's artistic voyage began in acting, where he honed his skills on sets of major films like "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "Downton Abbey," and even worked as a body double in "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald." A proud alumnus of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, Adam occasionally revisits acting, recently participating in the Bob Marley biopic. However, it was his transition to filmmaking and the success of his short film "Nerdians: Back to the Past" that ignited his passion for the written word. Starting with a heartfelt poem at 18, Adam's fervour for writing blossomed, leading to the creation of "Poetry in Motion" and the influential "White Cover Trilogy," setting the stage for his literary exploration and the impactful "The Early Hours."
Adam's poetic achievements, including the archiving of his pandemic poem "And In Our Loneliness We Came Together" by the Surrey History Centre, underscore his significance during a global crisis and mark his growing prominence with appearances on BBC Radio London and Surrey. Beyond personal accolades, Adam fosters the poetry community through The Poetry Cove, offering a platform for emerging poets, and reaches a global audience with his YouTube channel, boasting nearly 10,000 subscribers. Adam Gary's journey from acting to poetry is a testament to passion, self-discovery, and evolution, establishing him as a distinctive and inspiring voice in contemporary poetry.
